Job Responsibilities “applies for all countries under my responsibility”:1- Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the organization’s operations.2- Reviewing balance sheet analysis notes and deciding proper entries and/or settlements3- Reviewing & Maintaining the AR Aging and following up with Customers on the status of each invoice so that proper action could be taken to accelerate the collection or build provision properly when needed.4- Leading CIT and PIT tax inspections and being liaison with tax advisers and tax inspectors.5- Leading financial statements audits and being liaison with auditors. 6- Supervising the treasury & bank activities and related functions.7- Reviewing vendors’ payments, signing related bank cheques, and solving vendors’ issues or troubles.8- Reviewing the monthly local payroll and PIT calculations for nationals and Expats 9- Assure SOX compliance is in place, this includes adhering to the monthly, quarterly and yearly SOX checklist, and guiding & assuring the other departments adherence to the SOX procedures.10- Assuring internal audit requests are fulfilled 11- Coaching and training the staff on the accounting system and Co's current & new policies.12- Delivery of financial reporting, monthly, quarterly and yearly. 13- Handling and overseeing governmental transactions to assure compliance with Co’s code of conduct & ethics.

REPORTING, BUDGET & FORECAST:• Complete cost centers monthly Revenue analysis report on 1st working day of the month• Prepare monthly actual operating result by reviewing accounts payable, payroll, inventory transactions, system accruals, and the requirement of manual accruals and to ensure the commentary is accurate and the conformity to US GAAP.•Includes all other Budget and forecast activities to ensure reasonableness based on Budget and Forecast guidelines.COST ACCOUNTING & FINANCIAL ANALYSIS:•Ensure deadlines set for processing month end close are met•Preparation of monthly balance sheet notes for assigned cost centers with appropriate supports to verify balances for accuracy.•Any misstatement or non recognition of material assets or liabilities is to be promptly reported to Controller for further action.INTERNAL CONTROLS:•Assist controller to ensure a sound system of internal controls in the sector where financial transactions occur or assets are maintained. •Ensure 100% compliance to the Financial Policy & Procedure Manual•Adhere to the SOX month end close check list to ensure all month end procedures are fully completed under the strict time schedule and to document such review on the checklist or provide supporting documents to substantiate compliance.•Review Project Authorizations (PAs) for accuracy and in compliance with Budget and Quarterly ForecastACCOUNTS RECIVABLE & GENERAL ACCOUNTING:•Ensure timely and accurate preparation of client invoices, the delivery in accordance with client regulations, local regulations and company Policy and Procedures.•To maintain A/R schedule as current and updated. Ensure Unbilled Reimbursable A/R is promptly billed.•Immediate response to client’s feedback of any problem invoice which requires actions.

• Preparing the monthly and yearly financial Statements and the related financial reports for both the management and audit purposes based on the local accounting and tax rules & regulations.• Preparing the required reports and documents for the tax inspections and maintaining monthly schedule of outstanding tax assessments.• Preparing the monthly bank reconciliations.• Preparing the quarterly and yearly tax modules and returns.• Passing the Monthly entries for the local payroll, Expats PIT, the bank charges and interests, and other accruals and adjusting entries.• Preparing the balance sheet analysis.• Performing Sox Compliance Procedures.• Handles Intercompany service agreements between entities• Liaise with the company’s tax advisor and external auditors.• Assisting the Controller and reporting directly to him.
