Working as Senior Design & Development manager handling a portfolio of Projects Cost 1541.4/Million. Establishing business cases and approvals.Preparing inception Design and Feasibility studies.Preparing the Request of Proposals and subsequent consultant evaluation and selectionFurther negotiating the short listed consultants / contractors, conducting pre-contract meetings to ensure comprehensive understanding of tendered scope, negotiating RFPs.Developing the product mix to make developments achieve financial returns to ensure overall development viabilityManaging the entire Design process. Chairing the progress / Coordination meetings, Organize and plan an Internal Project Management System to supervise the Design development & execution stages ,Review of prepared Design documents, material selection to ensure compliance with set specification parameters.Ensure & facilitate for the Design development deliverables to be ready in timely manner.Providing regular development status and progress updates in terms of Commercial Feasibility, Budget and Time to higher management.Conducting Value engineering exercises, as needed, to maintain estimated costs within the Project allocated budget.Verification of Consultants invoices and ensure processing the same by/before due date, coordinating between internal & corporate departments as relevant.Ensure implementation of the Quality procedures.List of projects Attached.
