Procurement of all kinds of critical material, spares and equipment of multi million dollar worth which are required for operation functions of the company. Initiate and complete the procurement process in a cost effective and ethical manner considering price, service, quality, inventory positions, operations requirements, in accordance with the company procedures. Initiate the formalities of Pre-qualification of new vendors and new products and update the vendor base of the company. Arrange interdepartmental meetings, co-ordinate with user / vendor, inspection, finance and legal departments to discuss and finalize the correct technical parameters, inspection requirements and commercial terms to be incorporated in to the Purchase Orders. Attend to all the Post Order technical queries from the vendors for the effective execution of the Purchase Orders released. Liaise with vendors and logistics for the timely delivery of the materials.

 Ensures that Policies and Procedures are being followed & applied for procurement of Stock items. Having good idea regarding Pipe (CS &SS), Fitting, Flanges, Valve, and Stud Bolts & Gasket. Understanding ASTM, API norms and their requirements. Issuing Request for Quotation to vendors for Stock Items and communicate with vendors to obtain the best terms to the company Good Knowledge on Store & Inventory Control. Receive and evaluate quotations for Stock Items and coordinate any clarifications required Prepare notifications to manager for Stock Items procurement Following up with Warehouse issue of Goods Receipt and Discrepancy Reports and communicate with Vendors resolution of any unsatisfactory, overage, shortage, or discrepant items until closure. Follow up with Finance processing and timely payment of Invoices for Stock & sale Items. Maintain and update Commercial Directory.( online Register) Administer the freight forwarding services call off agreements and process declaration of cargo to be insured and any customs clearance documentation, Obtains appropriate management approval for purchase orders. Performs other similar or related duties, as assigned by Procurement Manager. Assists users in obtaining budgetary offers prior to release of purchase requisitions, preparing status reports, etc.
