- Abbas is currently heading the Debt Capital Markets (“DCM”) group under the umbrella of the Investment banking Division at CI Capital. Prior to CI Capital Abbas headed the Debt Capital Markets department at Misr Capital where the team is used to issue different types of DCM products such as Securitizations and Sukuk.- Abbas enjoys more than 11 years of experience in financial services with an extensive exposure in corporate finance. Throughout his career, Abbas contributed to a total deals size of more than EGP 123bn (USD 5.3bn); covering wide spectrum of corporate finance deals (i.e. Bond Issuances, Sukuk, ABSs, MBSs, M&As, and Corporate Lending).- Prior to CI Capital and Misr Capital Abbas served at Banque Misr in the Capital Markets Group where he provided different financial services for Banque Misr Investment Banking department (Equity Participation, Valuation and Recommendation) and for external clients (Securitization, Feasibility Studies, and Mergers and Acquisitions “M&As”).- Abbas holds a corporate finance and credit certification from Moody's Analytics, as well Modelling and Valuation Certificates from Financial Edge Training which is named as the JP Morgan Large Corporate Credit Course. Beside that he holds Stock Markets & Foreign Exchange Markets Diploma Provided by I.F.T.A. along with Fixed Income Certificate (FIC) from International Capital Market Association (ICMA).- Also, he holds a Large Corporate Credit Course Program Certificate from Banque Misr, and his bachelor’s degree is in accounting – English section from Ain Shams university (2012).
