Position: Sr. Application Analyst for Viva (Kuwait mobile operator) support – ITO (Telecom) Responsibilities: Outsourced for VIVA Telecom Company as part of Managed Services team who is responsible for supporting all applications/systems that the IT department provides to other sectors, which at the end serve the internal and external customers of the Company 1- Provide technical BSS/OSS and involvement in VIVA TABS Call Centre/ Customer Care modules as follows: - ITS Campaign, Task Management, Escalation and customer service pad modules 2- Provide technical BSS/OSS and involvement in Subex Fraud Management and Revenue Assurance 3- Provide technical support and Administration for Globitel Speechlog and work force management systems 4- Integrate VIVA TABS Call Centre/ Customer Care modules with CRM, Provisioning and CISCO 5- Perform Ad hoc Tasks such as data recovery, data clean up, scripting and quick reporting. 6- Using Info-maker and birt report designer to design the reports 7- Using Eclipse Birt engine to export the reports automatically by crontab or windows scheduler. 8- Using UNIX shell scripting and batch scripting to monitor processes, investigate incidents and handle disk space on UNIX servers and windows servers. 9- Coordinate with third parties as necessary. 10- Provide system authority for VIVA TABS Call Centre agents 11- Ensure deliverables quality. 12- Do proper follow up for open issues 13- Coordinate with 2nd line support as and when need

NPC Project:Number Portability Clearinghouse is a centralized system that interconnects wire line and/or mobile operators so that numbers can be ported easily between them.- Provide Systems Administration functions for the NPC System.- Porting Process Administrative Functions and monitoring- NPC Timers setup- SOAP Administration- Setting NPC configuration like (Holiday Dates,New Numbering Plan and the Routing Prefix)- System Monitoring- Provide reports to NTRA and Telecom Operators (Telecom Egypt,Mobinil,Vodafone and Etisalat Egypt).- Troubleshooting NPC issues, knowing the root cause- Provide technical assistance to telecom operators.- Problem notification, logging, escalation and coordination.- Develop a simple ticketing application to log any ticket coming from any telecom operator.
