For the past nineteen years as Physics teacher and coordinator ,I have been discharging my duties to the fullest satisfaction of my superiors in a capacity as stated above. Despite twenty four periods of my teaching work load per week, I have to coordinate my department in the following areas 1)delivering and discussing the outcome of the coordinators meeting with the colleagues in the Physics department meeting. 2)monitoring the lesson plan of the teachers whether it is in consistent with the yearly break down. 3)scrutinizing the weekly exams,term exams and mark schemes in terms of the standard,total marks and duration. 4)Repeated checking on how frequent the teachers deliver the study materials to the students in the form of notes, guides , worksheet and revision materials before exams. 5)Informal visit to the classes to observe whether resources available in school such as lab equipments ,frequent usage of smart board and internet are in usage. 6)planning for the forth coming academic year in terms of selecting and approving the books in accordance with set standards by approved educational boards and ongoing process of updating the lab. 7) responsible member of an organization I discussed with the administration many times about how to improve the standard and quality of education and assessment system in American High School programme.8)Playing a pivotal role in recruiting teachers for my department and my role is to test the academic related matters like qualifications,experience,subject knowledge,class room management skills through demo lessons and lesson planning includes 21st century learning skills. Twelve years teaching experience in science college as assistant professor/lecturer in physics in India and eighteen years teaching experience as senior teacher and coordinator in physics in Abudhabi ,U.A.E, has groomed me as a perfect professional in teaching to deal with young graduate students from school and matured students of college .I have strong belief that teaching and learning process will take place smoothly and effectively when there is a better understanding and rapport between teacher and student community. Throughout my carrier ,I have never refused any student giving help academically, as I think is a most important responsibility of a committed teacher.Since I have thorough knowledge about my subject (physics),I can guide my students to the extent to become more successful in their theoretical assignments as well as in practical based projects .
