I was delegated by my company beside my managerial position to work in the bidding of Riyadh metro project with ArRiyadh New Mobility consortium as a senior estimator with the following responsibilities:• Preparing concept and schematic design estimates, detail development design estimates, bill of quantities pre tender estimates, cost plans, cost reports, value engineering proposals and budget approval documentation for both pre and post contract works• Preparing benchmarking studies to assess the cost effectiveness of designing proposals • Producing feasibility studies as requested and assisting in value engineering workshops • Preparing detailed cost breakdown of components and elements for systems and subsystems • Analyze tender returns, recommend negotiating points and participate directly in negotiations • Collecting, analyzing and populating the cost database with historical project and cost data • Supporting strategic decision-making through data capturing, analysis and reporting
