Hired by UAEU Campus Development Dept. to join the construction engineering team in multi stakeholders mixed-use development. As the Campus Architectural Engineer for a state-of-the-arts university mega-campus of high-tech smart facilities & green buildings, I gained end-to-end hands on experience from design development to the delivery of a fully functional facility to post-occupancy modifications as per the client/end-user needs. My direct responsibilities were:• Worked with international consultants to develop the design as per the university’s vision & goals.• Coordinated between multiple stake-holders throughout the project, including sub-consultants, contractors, fit-out services & clients’ various departments.• Prepared presentations of project progress to client executives – UAE Minister of Higher Education & Scientific Research (MOHESR).• Assisted in technical tender documentation & evaluation as a specification writer.• Wrote RFPs & managed all related enquiries.• Projects include: all UAEU on campus & off campus design, construction & renovation work, for educational, housing & research facilities since 2007. (130 million AED - 1.2 billion AED)..One of my achievements is managing the transformation project of all UAEU housing facilities (+6500 residents) to energy saving buildings by the implementation of systems as architectural modifications, gray water recycling system & PVC cells.
