• Ensure the accounts procedures and manuals are up to date, reflect and regulate the processes in the Finance Department at all times and advise the FC on changes to the procedures to improve work flows.• Identify risks and areas needing improvement within all processes in the Finance Department and mitigate them by adjusting underlying processes.• Act as a direct supervisor to all Finance Accounts staffs to ensure an effective and efficient discharge their duties at all times• Responsible for the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual Management Accounts and accompanying notes within prescribed deadlines.• Ensure that financial transactions are recorded and classified in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and approved financial reporting standards.• Process all E-Banking transactions, reconcile and investigate differences• Analyze financial discrepancies (revenues, expenditures, assets, liabilities and equity), determine budget variances, provide explanations for such variations and recommend effective solutions to the FC.• Ensure the proper computation and timely remittance of all statutory payments (BPT, WHT, GST, Pension etc.) with supporting schedules within prescribed deadlines.• Coordinates all activities with company's external auditors regarding analysis, reviewing and responding to annual findings.• Maintains relationship with financial institutions by reviewing of loan agreements, charges, lines of credit, leasing and other covenants.• Reconciliation of Inter-company accounts

- In charge of group accounts payable section- Preparation and presentation of management accounts- Preparation and presentation of cash flow forecast- Preparation of year end and month end financial reports- Reviewing and recommending the amendments in the accounting system and internal control procedures- Reviews, investigates, and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial entries- Reviewing accounting documents to ensure accuracy of information- Assists the financial controller to prepare annual budget - Responsible for reconciliation of all Balance Sheet accounts- Intercompany accounting with parent- Day to day cash flow management- Check all payment vouchers- Interact with external auditors in completing audits- Other duties as assigned
