Mohamed is an Architect who has been working at several engineering consultant offices, and construction companies as a full-time employee, subcontract engineer by project and freelancer with direct clients and firms. In addition to publishing several scientific papers in reputable journals, and being a teacher assistant for some courses in Civil Engineering at Ryerson University in Canada.He started working on his Doctor of Philosophy degree in Civil Engineering at Ryerson University, Toronto, Canada in January 2021, and expects to finish his degree in December 2024. He has earned a fully-funded scholarship from Ryerson to be part of a huge research project in "Smart Cities Platforms" with a specialization in Geomatics Engineering under the supervision of Prof. Songnian Li and Prof. Ahmed Shaker.He earned his Master of Science degree in Architectural Engineering from King Fahd University for Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), Dhahran, Saudi Arabia in April 2019. His master's thesis is titled "The Development of a Holistic Framework for the Post-Occupancy Evaluation of Polyclinics in Healthcare Facilities". His dissertation was conducted in consultation with Prof. Mohammad A. Hassanain as his thesis advisor. In his research, he developed a holistic framework to evaluate the current practices in healthcare facilities. He graduated with a CGPA of 3.9 out of 4.0.He also earned his bachelor's degree in a double major in Architecture/Architectural Engineering from Shoubra Faculty of Engineering - Benha University in Cairo, Egypt in 2016. His graduation project was titled "Therapeutic Tourism Resort" located in Aswan, Egypt and included all phases of design starting from the site selection, project programming, analysis, conceptual design and final design. He obtained an "Excellent" grade on the project.Mohamed has worked on several projects in the GCC countries generally and in Saudi Arabia mostly during his 5 years of professional career and 2 years of working as an intern architect. These projects varied in scale and function including military facilities, aircraft shelters, aircraft test facilities, a hospital, a resort, a sporting club, gas stations, residential complexes and villas. During his contract with Al Meer, he conducted summer trainings for architecture students in addition to his responsibilities as an Architect.He is a passionate architect who is seeking a challenging career in a suitable environment, to build a career in a progressive organization, that will provide him exciting opportunities to learn and utilize his skills.
