Abu Dhabi government regulator for TVET set up by Royal decree in August 2010 to provide leadership and strategic guidance to all government funded Vocational and Technical high schools and academies, and license all private training providers operating in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.As Director of Planning & Development I led a talented and multicultural department consisting of 4 divisions – Strategic planning, Special projects, Curriculum standards (High School) and Innovation and Academic Technology.

New position to lead a small Business Development team tasked with investigating B2B and B2C opportunities for a range of Kaplan products and learning solutions across Kaplan’s Higher Education, Professional Training and Test Preparation business areas.Signed contracts for an Abu Dhabi government funded Kaplan International College in Al Ain and Abu Dhabi for upto 2,000 students, commencing September 2010.

Holborn College is an Independent private Higher Education institution acquired by Kaplan Inc. in November 2005 as part of its strategy to enter the UK Higher Education Market, having already acquired the Financial Training Company in 2003.Developed a Strategic Plan for the College to allow it to take advantage of the ‘fee paying’ trend in UK Higher Education and hence to make Holborn a meaningful, long term Kaplan asset;Re-engineered the operation of the College’s Flexible Learning division using Kaplan University’s infrastructure and resources; Organised the systematic centralization of non-core departments – HR, Finance, IT Support, Marketing & Admissions – within KHEI’s network of services.
