OPERATION & MAINTENANCE PURVIEWElectrical Systems: • Managing systems such as switchgears, LV panels, capacitor banks, generator systems, UPS, VFDs, lighting and dimming controls, motion detectors/sensors, and earthing systems.Low Current Systems: • Handling CCTV, security access control systems, guard tour systems, IP TV, intrusion alarms, nurse call systems, and key management systems. • Conducting testing for LV switchgears, panels, and thermography.HVAC Systems: • Overseeing chillers, chilled water pumps, FAHU, AHU, FCU, VRV/VRF systems, exhaust, and ventilation fans.Plumbing Systems: • Managing water booster pumps, solar hot water systems, chemical dosing and neutralization units, circulation pumps, irrigation pumps, and drainage systems (foul and storm).Fire Fighting Systems: • Maintaining fire alarm systems with detectors, fire hydrants, fire pumps, sprinkler systems, and central battery systems.Civil Systems: • Executing structural work such as shuttering, steel fixing, and casting concrete. • Managing fit-outs, including partition walls (blockwork/gypsum/plywood), gypsum false ceilings, flooring (marble/tile/granite), painting, and installation of doors and windows. • Ensuring proper water-proofing and furnishing.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT • Conducting cost-benefit analysis at project decision points. • Finalizing requirements and specifications in collaboration with stakeholders. • Overseeing on-site activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget, optimizing resources for maximum output. • Participating in project review meetings to evaluate progress and provide technical input.RESPONSIBILITIES AT BATELCO • Managing work orders from initiation to completion, ensuring documentation and clearance of wayleave issues from relevant authorities (EWA, DPS, Road Directorate). • Locating client sites, interacting with clients to ensure quality service, and addressing their needs. • Installing copper and fiber cables (8, 12, 24 fibers) and assigning cable jointers for splicing. • Ensuring adherence to standards while completing projects with proper records. • Leading maintenance work, diagnosing faults, guiding the team, and resolving issues. • Preparing and submitting as-built drawings and reports for payment approval and measurement verification. • Communicating with Batelco engineers to resolve issues and ensure smooth project execution.RESPONSIBILITIES AT WDD • Working on projects involving 300mm DI pipes, meter installations for residential and commercial clients, and meter maintenance. • Managing work orders, documenting progress, and clearing wayleave from authorities like EWA, Telecommunication, and Roads. • Preparing material lists and collecting required materials for projects. • Connecting main lines and laying pipes using proper standards and fittings. • Coordinating meter maintenance by replacing meters, boxes, and valves, and gathering photographic documentation. • Monitoring material availability (e.g., meters, valves) and preparing material requests with daily reports.

SITE MANAGEMENT / RESOURCE PLANNING • Supervising site activities with technical inputs and methodologies. • Coordinating with site management teams for smooth execution of tasks. • Mentoring engineers for projects involving electrical and fiber cable laying, plumbing, asphalt paving, concrete works, interlock fixing, and grass installation. • Verifying that received equipment and materials meet required quantity and quality standards.Civil • Studying and reviewing construction drawings and specifications. • Quoting and executing all civil works, including structural works, blockwork, plastering, gypsum, tiles, marble, and painting. • Familiar with material submittals, approval processes, shop drawings, planning, and manpower allocation. • Managing material, manpower, tools, and equipment to ensure seamless execution of projects. • Overseeing site activities starting from earthwork (excavation, leveling) to structural and infrastructure works. • Expert in finishing and resolving snags for turnkey projects. • Preparing and submitting detailed method statements for project execution.ELECTRICAL • Installing, erecting, testing, and energizing transformers, generators, LV switchgear, earthing systems, VFDs, and UPS units. • Setting up lighting and small power systems for substations and plant rooms. • Installing cable trays, ladders, and G.I trunking; laying low- and medium-voltage power cables and performing terminations. • Conducting testing and energization of external services.MECHANICAL • Marking duct routes and shaft openings; supervising duct fabrication, unit installation, grille setup, and airflow testing. • Inspecting plumbing systems for routing and leakages; installing booster transfer and fire pumps. • Executing steel structural works, including mezzanine floors, steel staircases, and lift areas. • Overseeing the fabrication and installation of aluminum windows and doors.
