With a strong passion for co-creating a fairer, inclusive, & sustainable future for #PeopleAndPlanet, I formed the base of my profession for research, advocacy, and policy engagement at the intersection of local and global communities, social innovation, impact, and cross-sector partnerships.I am a researcher, consultant, and ecosystem builder. Currently, I am the founding director of ICE Institute - Institute of Climate and Environment to tackle the climate and ecological crisis in Somalia and beyond. I have a strong passion for systems change, social justice and sustainable development. I love to learn, adapt and develop continuously in business, public, and communities. As the Global Shapers Community’s Champion for East and Central Africa, I oversee over 17 city hubs of young changemakers.
