Industrial Operation Manager
CurrentKey Account-abilities:Accountable for maintaining a safe work environment; continuously identifies improvement areas to anticipate and eliminate hazards • Communicates job expectations, monitors and appraises results. Coaches and disciplines employees as appropriate. Charged with enforcing systems, policies and procedures • Direct and coordinate the production activities so that the manufacturing of products meets quality standards, customer delivery and cost objectives • Drives shop floor metrics resulting in improvements in quality, productivity, on-time delivery and cost reduction. Daily walk-through of all production areas. Intense shop floor presence in all areas. "Hands-On" understanding of product flow. In coordination with the production engineer, identification and resolution of any production "bottle-necks".• Provides leadership and establishes high performance standards and drives accountability at every level of the team. Maintain a positive, performance-oriented team culture. Responsible for ensuring all employees are trained in all aspects of their role; facilitates skill development across the team. • Support in Product development and formulation of long and short-range planning, policies, programs and objectives.• Leverage Lean Manufacturing tools and techniques to minimize waste, decrease cost, improve floor space utilization and manufacturing efficiencies.• Maintain and continually improve the plant manufacturing systems. Drive in establishing, communicating and implementing operational standards for throughput (output efficiency), cost control, waste reduction, quality, and on-time delivery.
