• Controlling 532 rooms inventory• Ensuring all rooms related requests are met.• Applying proper blocking strategies and allotting rooms to VIP and regular guests walking in unannounced• Coordinating with housekeeping and room reservation staff on a continuous basis to maintain accurate status of all guest rooms• Answering calls of reservation inquiries in a professional manner• Providing callers information on services offered, types of rooms, and food served, etc.• Assisting front desk by checking guests in and out during peak arrival/departure hours• Assisting guest in exchanging currencies, parking, and loading and unloading luggage• Performing checkout and cash handling activities in accordance with cashiering and credit policies• Accepted and informed the housekeeping staff about special requests from guests• Provided safe, secure, and comfortable hotel environment to guests• Monitored and supervised filing system for dead folios/reservations, registration slip and correspondence• Recorded, calculated, and processed travel agent commission on a daily basis

• Responds to communications from guests, travel agents, and referral networks concerning reservations arriving by mail, telephone, telex, cable, fax, or through a central reservation system. • Creates and maintains reservation records-usually by date of arrival and alphabetical listing prepares letters of confirmation and promptly processes any cancellations and modifications in Marsha and Opera.• Ensure to maximize the room revenue and all reservation details update on Marsha and Opera. • Coordinate with sales department and manage all communication for group bookings and maintain all calendars for hotel and inform operation staff for same. • Tracks future room availability on the basis of reservations, and helps develop forecasts for room revenue and occupancy. • Assist to book and block all rooms according to required standards and manage all special reservations and monitor all reservations and discounts. • Checking arrivals for wholesale and transit guest.• Following up with the payments

• Assisting of customers with their bags and luggage• Courteously greeting guests and provide them high quality service• Escorting guests to their respective hotel rooms• Occasionally works as a butler for VVIP guest• Explaining to the guest the hotels rules, showing them how to use hotel facilities, room features such as TV, Radio, Bath tubs.• Using Go Concierge in order to track and maintain the guest needs
