Timely clearance of consignments to meet the deadline and to avoid demurrage as well. 7. Ensure safe arrival of god at destination through Liaison CNF and Transport Agent. 8. Timely process of CNF/Transport agents bills and forward to finance for Payment. 9. Update MAT Plan (software) through input each and every import data. Duties & responsibilities: 1. Shipment follow up with different suppliers to effect shipment within the deadline.2. Ensure to have original documents/copy documents before arrival of consignments at destination through effective follow up with suppliers. 3. Collect ocean freight from different shipping agents/freight forwarders in case of FOB basis import.4. Liaison with Pre-shipment Inspection agencies for timely issuance of the CRF (Clean Report of Findings). 5. Arrange necessary amendment of CRF for value/ HS Code, if any. Handle insurance claim in case of short landing, missing of imported goods and arrange settlement of the claim through Liaison with insurance company. 6. Meet business requirements in respect of Import Policy Issues, Regulatory Issues (SRO), Foreign Exchange Regulations issues, HS Code issues, duty structure issues etc. Show less
