-Receive and review new business proposals and renewal schemes for Group Life & Personal Accident Insurance Cover. -Assess and price the risk using pricing tools based on underwriting guidelines, risk factors -Decide acceptance/decline of the risk, determine terms for accepted risks and prepare/release quotations to clients, sales team members and external brokers.-Correspond with reinsurers in respect of new business, renewals for facultative arrangements -Act as an Account… Show more -Receive and review new business proposals and renewal schemes for Group Life & Personal Accident Insurance Cover. -Assess and price the risk using pricing tools based on underwriting guidelines, risk factors -Decide acceptance/decline of the risk, determine terms for accepted risks and prepare/release quotations to clients, sales team members and external brokers.-Correspond with reinsurers in respect of new business, renewals for facultative arrangements -Act as an Account Manager for large corporate clients and represent the company by handling their underwriting and claims related matters on direct basis.-Compute/book gross premiums, reinsurance premiums and broker commissions for new and renewal business, issue the corresponding debit/credit notes and release to clients, sales team members and external brokers.-Review and process endorsements under Group Life & Personal Accident Insurance Policies including member additions, deletions, changes in sum assured, policy amendments, policy extensions and policy cancellations.-Issue policy documentation for confirmed new business and renewal schemes.-Prepare monthly production reports and quarterly reinsurance reports.-Respond to queries and requests received from existing clients, potential clients, sales team and external brokers regarding Group Life & Personal Accident Insurance Cover.-Process death and disability claims by reviewing supporting documents, ensuring complete documentation, computing of claim settlement amounts and obtaining necessary approvals.-Assist Department Manager by providing underwriting, claims and administration support.-Monitoring and ensuring adherence to treaty guidelines and regulations -Confirmation of existing and new business to the reinsurers for their share of risk-Managed 100% retention rate of Group Life & Credit Life Business -Coordinating with the finance department for the settlement of reinsurer’s balance Show less
