With over 12 years of experience in chemistry, I am a dedicated and innovative Senior Scientist at Moses Lake Industries, a leading producer of high-purity chemicals and advanced materials. My mission is to develop new products that enhance the performance and sustainability of industries such as electronics, energy, and biotechnology. I hold a PhD in Chemistry from Kyungpook National University, South Korea, where I develop, analyzed, and executed several fluorescence probes development of analytical method for bioassay.Following my PhD, I worked from 2013 to 2019 at top-tier universities in South Korea, focusing on the synthesis of quantum dots and nanostructured materials for biosensors, bioimaging, and opto-electronic devices. After completing these projects, I moved to California State University, Long Beach, USA, where I specialized in synthesizing metal-ligand complexes for catalytic organic reactions. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I transitioned to the University of Nevada, Reno, USA, where I developed an electrochemical biosensor for COVID-19 detection. In my current role, I report to the R&D Directors and focus on developing new products through synthetic organic chemistry. I design and conduct experiments to create innovative polymers for semiconductor applications, analyze data, troubleshoot processes, and manage multiple projects. Collaborating with a talented and supportive team, I am always eager to learn new techniques and technologies. I take pride in contributing to the company's ongoing innovation and growth.
