OMEN-Palestine is a national network to connect Palestinian physicians at all stages of their careers so that together we can advocate for excellence in research and medical education. Our mission is to advance health equity in Palestine through an interdisciplinary approach that integrates research, public health, education, and data-driven policies. OMEN-Palestine has grown to become affiliated with Osmosis from Elsevier.A few highlights from this role have included:● Established and directed the first Osmosis chapter in Palestine, creating a significant network for medical professionals focused on research and education.● Recruited and trained a management team of 15, grew membership to include 75% of medical students nationally, and engaged over 700 students through our specialized training programs.● Pioneered a longitudinal mentorship program, connecting 80 mentees with 18 global mentors, complemented by 15 extensive training sessions.● Orchestrated the first Wikipedia Editing Course for Palestinian Medical Students, engaging 57 participants from six medical schools nationwide. This initiative significantly enhanced the quality and accuracy of +20 medical articles on Wikipedia. Up to this date, those pages have been viewed more than 702,000 times.
