I am Mohammad Ali an agricultural economist based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. I have a proven track record in contributing to multidisciplinary research projects and a passion for agricultural research. In my career, I have designed and run various socioeconomic and gender research focusing on community water management, community-based fisheries management, youth engagement in agriculture, public-private investment, sustainable development, and various macroeconomic issues. My research work, articles, and content have created high engagement at the policy level and generated measurable results. I have completed my bachelor's and master's from Bangladesh Agricultural University. For my MS thesis, I worked with the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) to find out the factors affecting to choice of agriculture as a livelihood option. My research interest is to work for youth skills development and empowerment, youth participation in agriculture, application of data science in the agriculture sector, sustainable rural development, and economic & and capacity development of Bangladeshi farmers.
