Mohammad Ali Mohammad is a Director (Policy, Research and Market Intelligence) at Special Technology Zones Authority (STZA) at Special Technology Zones Authority (STZA). They is proficient in Persian and Arabic. Colleagues describe them as "I've had the pleasure of knowing and working with Mohammad for a number of years now. I first met him about 5 years ago during the early days of his graduate studies as a user of the nanoFAB facility here at the U of Alberta. While working part time for us, Mohammad has quickly grown to be an important asset for our cornerstone (EBL) electron beam lithography tools. His responsibilities span from basic/advanced user training, EBL related user/staff liaising to advanced process development & documentation. Mohammad has proven to be a very detail oriented and thorough young man. Some equally important attributes include his infectious attitude, helpful demeanor and willingness to volunteer his time to help the nano community here at the U of Alberta." and "I can honestly recommend Mohammad Ali Mohammad as a outstanding researcher and speaker whom has a great depth of knowledge and understanding in Electron Beam Lithography and Reactive Ion Etching processing for MEMS based resonators and other nano-scale devices. Recently he presented at my Ebeam Lab Town Hall Meeting to my User groups working at the Stanford Nanofabrication Facility in the Electron Beam Lithography Lab a very high level presentation entitled, "Nanoscale Electron Beam Processing and Applications.' Within that talk he covered in great depth, presenting much useful data, on several Electron Beam Lithography resist systems showing a number of outstanding fabrication results with features defined down to 8 nm in line width on resonator beams of over 5 ums in length in GaNC. Only a handful of researchers worldwide have achieved this quality of result, to my knowledge none on this material, and even fewer would have shared how they achieved it. This work would easily transfer to other material systems and will be very valuable as we move into the future in opto-electronic, Photonic, and NEMS based device development. In the past four years, our many interactions have been filled with valuable information exchange and a rich potential for success exist in current and future collaborations between our Research Centers."
