Handling, stetting and operation of multiplexers (Ncompass Ericsson, NMX, Thomson and MEM)2.Handling and operation of IRD’S (Ericson , Harmonic , Thomson and Tandberg).Handling , setting and operation and with up converters .3. On-field transmission via satellite news gathering (S.N.G).4. Installation and maintenance of transmission systems (Andrew and Patriot).6. Coordinating between Teleport department and other departments.7. Preparing infra-structure for transmitted channels (i.e. Servers, play-out Petasite, co-axial cables and fiber connections.8. Aligning and mounting different size antennas of different manufacture.10. Leading a group of technicians and subordinate engineers.11.Managing feeds from many different satellite and record it.B) MCR Division:-1. Monitor of all our outgoing channels and report any fault. 2. troubleshooting the faults.3.exellent understanding of automation software's, video sarvers, Router, HD/SD,Aspect ratio converter and video/audio proceessing.4. Operating alot of equipment used in broadcasting system suchencoders, IRD's, multeplexers,modulators, HPA's,wave guides, upconverters, beacon reveivers, antenna control units, Dish antenna, spectrum analayzers, HPA's control switches, leitch matrix, stream analayzer RF matrix, fiber cards, etc,.....C) Broadcast Division:-1. RF end to end system.2. Encoding and embedding system.3.troubleshooting technical issues, reporting and following up on them.4. Communications with vendor support for different equipment.5. Getting, updated on new device either with training or self-learning.6. Covering 24/7.7. Playout chain.8. Ingest.9. Familiar with the ruels and regalations of broadcasting.10.
