• Supervision of supply, storage and accessibility of items in order to ensure an adequate supply without excessive oversupply.• Monitors and maintains current inventory levels; processes purchasing orders as required; tracks orders and investigates problems.• Records purchases, maintains database, performs physical count of inventory, and reconciles actual stock count to computer-generated reports.• Assigns, monitors, coordinates for the shipping and receiving work of Storekeepers at various sites & warehouse.• Trains and advises warehouse employees in materials handling procedures and in the operation of equipment used maintaining the safety standard and MSDS.• Tracking shipments and pending orders and liaising with the concerned departments

• Provides direction, guidance and assistance to other warehouse employees in carrying out the efficient and effective operation of the Warehouse.• To supervise the subordinates to ensure that the warehouse procedures, processes and the HSE management system are adhered to and implemented especially those related to the handling and storage of toxic and hazardous materials.• To supervise and carry out the receipts and inspection of various materials to ensure conformity with the respective documents and that the required certificates and tests reports are enclosed for further verification and approval by the end users. To review and prepare shortage and discrepancy reports for damage and incorrect deliveries.• Maintains an inventory control system for the Warehouse to ensure goods received, stored and shipped from the Warehouse are properly recorded and accounted for.• To arrange the storage facilities to be well secured, safe, adequate and well maintained and that the Inventory and Custody materials are well preserved.• Requisitions supplies, materials and equipment to ensure adequate inventory levels are maintained to meet the needs.
