PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:• Data Center Administrator.• Installing new software.• Installing new hardware (servers, printers, computer work stations etc.).• Monitoring antivirus protection.• Investigating and diagnosing network problems.• Fixing network faults.• Network maintenance.• Technical support for people using the network.• Day to day admin and monitoring of network use.• Planning future improvements, suggesting IT solutions to business problems.• Making sure all IT meets company standards.• Supporting IT administrator’s staff.• Handling backup jobs using Symantec Backup Exec Software.• Technical Support for Oracle programs, network maintenance and Installation.• Maintain network servers such as file servers, VPN gateways, intrusion detection systems.• Administer servers, desktop computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones, personal digital assistants, smart phones, software deployment, security updates and patches.
