• My tenure at RSAF (Royal Saudi Air Force) was very challenging and beneficial in terms of overall technical competencies growth and providing significant contributions to RSAF’s organization. I worked in the capacity of an SME and was given a technical lead role in the RSAF’s Private Cloud initiative as well as some other new Oracle solutions implementation such as e-Business Suite and IDM.• I worked with various vendors such as IBM, HP, Oracle and Cisco Private Cloud solutions for RSAF to provide reduced cost both in terms of CapEx and OpEx, flexibility, automation and sustainability to manage assets more efficiently. • RSAF’s Data Center located in one of the main air bases was chosen for (IaaS) Cloud solution to combine compute, network and storage over a high speed network. I played a vital role in laying out Oracle solutions using version 12c multi tenancy and RAC options. This is a huge undertaken that is still being developed and subject to complete by the end of 2015.• Additional Oracle Engagements:• Technical lead in the configuration, installation, administration, troubleshooting and support of 2 node Oracle 11g Rel2 RAC. This project was initiated in order to achieve the maximum availability, scalability and reliability for the RSAF mission critical environment.• Participated in laying out DR strategy for RSAF main Data Center and various Air bases. Evaluated Oracle replications capabilities with Oracle Active Guard.• Made valuable contributions to a recently live Oracle e-Business Suite project that handled all of RSAF HR, Payroll and General Ledger components across various air bases. The project involved performance tuning at the database and SQL level. Responsible for installation, upgrades, patches, TAR support, concurrent manager administration, cloning and Oracle Applications SYSADMIN functions.• Involved in deploying new Single Sign-on solutions for RSAF through implementing Oracle Identity Management Suite.
