Daily customer engagement capturing and verifying technical and business requirements through to generation of commercial proposals with ROM/BOM costings and high level design documents.Generation of high and low level design documents within predefined SLAs as part of the Sapphire Program, with rigorous governance review cycles to ensure deliverables are suitable within secure accredited critical operational environments, particularly at Nuclear Power Stations and Data Centres. Recent projects have included the following: • Designing a scalable, resilient Nexus Core Data Centre Infrastructure, with technical migration planning to ensure service continuity with minimal impact whilst auditing and consolidating existing discontiguous Cisco 6500 and 4500 Data Centre Core Switch platforms in to a centralised Nexus 7710 architecture. • Developed a high level QoS Policy and produced low level QoS configuration design documents to support Unified Communications across multi-vendor layer 2 and 3 platforms spanning the LAN, WAN and offsite Skype platforms, ensuring traffic is marked, prioritised and markings mutated where required. • Assisted in RF surveys and structured cabling audits as part of designing scalable and resilient, Cisco Meraki Cloud Managed Wireless Network Solutions for a fleet of large multi-storey office buildings and RF sensitive areas such as Nuclear Power Stations. The designs were measured against a wireless design criterion, including RF signal propagation, self-service authentication via a portal to log and track a user’s footprint, IDS for intrusion detection/identifying malicious activity against CVSS and web content filtering. • Carried out Network Scans and physically surveyed Nuclear Power Stations and EDF Energy Data Centres across the UK to refresh LAN infrastructure. This included measuring bill of materials against contractual agreements to identify uplift in revenue.

Currently allocated to the EDF Energy contract to provide 3rd line technical support for LAN/WAN services to the Secure Accredited and Non-Accredited networks against pre-defined SLAs within an ITIL framework. Collaborated with technical architects to compile design documents for implementing new telecoms infrastructure throughout UK PowerStations.Design and Implementation of new Access Control System Network Infrastructure for Nuclear New Build PowerStation, Hinkley Point C. All systems rigorously tested for due diligence to conform with Office of Nuclear Regulations (ONR). Investigated segments of the client’s existing Network Infrastructure, and submitted findings based on increasing performance and making processes leaner.

Experience in maintaining the Oil Partnering network infrastructure, involving many different Network technologies and topologies to provide internet, e-mail, Citrix and bespoke services over a secure platform. Major Customers include BP, Shell and Exxon Mobil. Commissioned new services for external clients and provided WAN services in hard to reach areas all over the world. Used Orion SolarWinds Network Management System and Netflow solutions to monitor network performance and analyse types of traffic traversing the link. Liaised with clients prior to mergers or acquisitions by designing network integration solutions using network protocols, security mechanisms and Quality of Service (QOS). Redesigned the existing internal network infrastructure to address limitations of security, resiliency and scalability, resulting in added value of new services to clients.Used Footprints helpdesk management system to provide incident management services for clients.

Travelled to international branches within Europe, Middle East and Africa to install configure and support networking equipment. Provided technical support for hardware and software that consisted of Windows 2000, Windows XP, Microsoft Outlook 2000 and bespoke applications.Repaired and upgraded Notebooks, desktops as well as installing network images on them.
