Currently assuming the overall responsibility for the Group’s Internal Audit function. The group portfolio of companies comprises independent businesses benefiting from its International experience in managing and advising successful companies for over 75 years. The group is specialized in commercial activities, partnerships & investments in which the experts provide consulting, capital services & operations advisory covering entities in the Middle East, Africa, Europe and America. Industries: Insurance & Reinsurance, Technology, Financial Institutions, Gambling & Gaming, and Fintech.Responsibilities:- Lead Internal Audit’s change initiative by implementing action plans related to risk assessment and annual planning, audit execution, audit reporting, staff recruiting and development, and Audit Committee reporting.- Proactively inform audit committee senior management of significant risks or exposures related to internal controls, compliance, and/or governance requiring prompt attention- Special focus on audit missions covering insurance & reinsurance activities in Europe, America, and the Middle East;- Performing audits on the processes relating to technical accounting, underwriting, retrocession programs, brokers and intermediaries management, and regulatory reporting. Also, performing audits to ensure that adequate compliance with evolving regulations, legal requirements and industry trends (e.g. GDPR, FCA, CAA, EIOPA, etc.)- Leading and performing audits for different reinsurance business lines (Energy, Financial institutions, surety bonds, Cargo, Motor);- Developing internal audit strategy and annual audit plan;
