As Treasury and Investment Manager I'm responsible for supervising and managing all treasury and investment activities at PIB, including: * Day to day cash management of the branches and the bank* Day to day liquidity management of the bank, and providing enough liquidity to cover daily operation needs of liquidity* Money Market operations* Supervising investment analysis and review investment proposals* Participating in setting investment and liquidity policies* Asset / liability management* Follow up on global financial markets, and setting investment strategies accordingly* Participating in developing new products and services offered to the bank customers* Managing Foreign Currency positions of the bank.* Market, liquidity and credit risk management related to treasury operations* Managing capital and reserve requirements.* Supervising and maintaining regulatory requirements.* Providing required reports to the bank management, Investment Committee, and the Board of Directors.

Palestinian Authority

Palestine Monetary Authority (PMA) is the regulatory body that supervise banking activity, and maintain economic and financial stability in Palestine.By law all banks operating in Palestine must maintin a statutory reserve at PMA of 9% of total deposits at the bank, currently this pool is almost USD 1.7 billion, the Reserve Management Division is trusted with the following tasks:-Maintain enough liquidity to cover banks’ settlement and liquidity needs on daily basis.-Managing the reserve portfolios to meet expected short term liquidity needs.-Investment of excess reserve in money markets and capital markets to provide adequate return on the portfolio, within the accpetable level of risk.-Scanning for new investment opportunities that are appropriate and in line with the investment policies and goals, and provide investment analysis of these products.-Participate in suggesting changes of the investment policies and procedures in order to improve the investment process, and implement investment stratigies.-Follow up on financial markets, economic news, and the expectations of the markets.-Prepare all reports related to the division that are requested by the management.

Palestine Deposit Insurance Corporation (PDIC) is a member of IADI andis the Chair of the MENA Regional Committee of IADI, as the secretaryof the MENA Committee I have the following duties:- Preparing the material for MENA Regional Committeemeetings.- Prepare meeting minutes and communicating meeting relatedmaterials with the committee members- Act as a communication channel between IADI and theCommittee and between committee members.- Attending IADI and the Committee meetings and events.

PDIC is a deposit insurance corporation that collects insurance fees from member banks and invest them in order to build a reserve that would be used to reimburse depositors in case of a member bank failure.PDIC invests its funds in HTM sovereign bonds portfolio, which must have very low risk, high liquidity, and provide adequate return for operations.As a head of investment unit, and an executive member of Investment Committee of the Board, I have the following job tasks:- Developing and reviewing Investment policy- Implementing investment strategies that are expected to serve our investment goals- Conduct necessary research and analysis for investing in new securities.- Managing investment portfolio (AUM $150 million invested golbally), and allocation of portfolio assets to different allowable investment classes in a way that would serve our investment goals.- Monitoring of investment portfolio on daily basis.- Prepare investment reports for the Investment committee and the Board of Directors.

-Fixed Income Portfolio Administration:Underlying Assets USD 250+ MillionSearch and selection of bonds that fits the portfolio and Financial Analysis of the issuers to help in investment decision making.Performance reporting and follow up.-Equity Investments Administration:Financial Statements Analysis Equity ValuationPerformance reporting and follow up on companies.Other different tasks related to investment department like following up global markets news and its effect on investments, analysis and giving opinions about different investment opportunities, products or investment offers from other institution. Also, provide follow up on markets and investments of the bank, and investment advice for the bank and some of its clients.

Customer service: Serving customers' needs of opening accounts, Check books requests, closing accounts, inquiries and questions about their accounts or bank services.Teller : Check cashing, depositing.Cash depositing, withdrawal.Vault cash counting and balancing as alternate head tellerATM cash loading, management, balancing, recieving customers claims regarding cash, cards and presenter errors
