• Concurrently function as consultant, coordinator and project manager for Unifying Standards for Highway Engineering Practices, aimed to maximize the performance of the highway network through the following initiatives: improving the management, planning, design, construction, maintenance and operation of highway projects in the Emirate; guaranteeing safe and uniform operational and structural capacity throughout the highway network; and adhering to sustainability and environmental best practices• Manage, coordinate and spearhead efforts of multiple teams of experts and consultants in the preparation of a suite of documents, including guidelines, manuals, specifications, and standards for management, planning, design, construction, maintenance, and operation of highway projects• Ensure inclusions of all concerns, inputs, and requirements of various stakeholders involved in the project• Manage 18 out of 35 documents, assuming full responsibility in coordinating all aspects of roads, highway structures and appurtenances, along with associated infrastructure; construct documents based on the most appropriate, internationally approved and accepted practices in planning, design, construction, and management, streamlined to meet existing conditions and practices in Abu Dhabi Emirate

Project: Design, Implementation, Operation and Maintenance of an Integrated Travel Information & Navigation Services System (i-TINS), Abu Dhabi, UAE• Transform and incorporate the vision, goals and objectives of the Abu Dhabi Department of Transport (DoT) with regard to Traveler Information and Navigation systems into a coherent and solid concept of operations. • Reach out and involve all the different internal DoT stakeholders with current or future systems or functions that will tie into, or become part of, the i-TINS deployment. • Reach out and involve all the different external stakeholders that will be impacted by the i-TINS deployment as well as the potential end users of the i-TINS information, including pre-trip users, in-vehicle users, pedestrian/public transport users, broadcast media (i.e., local radio and TV stations), and freight operators.• Establish the data sources and coverage needed to support i-TINS operation and deployment by defining availability of the data, and frequency of updates. • Assess the costs typically needed to implement different levels of information coverage and quality, and potential revenue sources from the private sector.

ITS Architecture, Strategy and Implementation Plan Consultancy Services, Abu Dhabi, UAE Collaboratively worked with the Abu Dhabi Department of Transportation (DoT) to develop an Emirate-wide Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) strategy and ITS architecture incorporating all modes of transportation Forged the purpose of developing a comprehensive “roadmap,” to set the direction and pace of ITS investments within the Emirate over the next five years and beyond Played an integral role in the analysis and evaluation of existing ITS components and systems in Abu Dhabi to document and prioritize the needs and requirements of all stakeholders Initiated the developmental structure of ITS architecture, to be the starting point for the establishment of a state-of-the-art Transportation Management Center, along with the deployment of cutting-edge ITS systems across the Emirate Carried out a wide array of duties, including establishment of organizational and institutional framework necessary for leading the ITS initiative and ensuring its success; facilitated a consultation marathon with all affected stakeholders and government agencies, which was concluded following the consolidation of all ITS-related projects in the DoT as per the international best practices

Participated in the installation of the Dubai Toll Gate system (SALIK) team Conducted a series of responsibilities, including configuring and testing procedures for equipment testing prior to installation as well as coordinating equipment testing and getting them ready to be installed in the field Played an integral role in the installation of control units and servers for each tolling zone command center in addition to managing the installation of antennas, readers, scanners, and cameras in each tolling gantry; observed and supervised optical fiber installation, termination, and hook-up
