Provide tier 1 and tier 2 support for all issues with local infrastructure and data center. Liaison with tier 3 corporate support partners and vendors to ensure timely resolution within SLA time frames. Responsible for designing and testing maintenance schedules and disaster recovery plans. Ensured a 99.99% Up-time performance of our systems. Provide after hours and weekend on-call support for scheduled maintenance, upgrades, and problem resolution. Develop process for testing with our national partners to ensure 100% Effectiveness for our Internal Controls following Sarbanes-Oxley audit guidelines. Work and develop process and hardware planning with vendors to update warehouse management and control systems. Purchasing of IT hardware when necessary. Provide tier 2 and tier 3 onsite IT support and repair of servers, network devices, and desktops. Use of Peregrine IT service management software to assign support tickets and track incidents to ensure SLA time frames are met. Provide back up to call center, as an agent, when call numbers were high. Provided training to other technicians on installation and management of servers (Win2K and Win2K3). Travel to school sites and district offices to upgrade and maintain Cisco network devices and server hardware. Work with our partners at SAIC to ensure new installations meet District wide and Local school requirements.

Work with Vendors to design and integrate new digital environment for all school libraries in the district. Developed a new standard of server (Win2K), desktop(WinXP), and software integration which would be rolled out to all libraries as we standardize towards centralizing all systems. Provide oversight of our vendors from SAIC and NCS Pearson to ensure quality of installations to over 500 school libraries. Ensure that all installations are on schedule and work with contractors to ensure any issues are resolved in a timely manner. After installation from our vendors I would inspect the installation then provided support and training to local school IT support team.
