Responsibilities:• Working as a Specialist - Network Eng.• Perform RF Planning, which include New Site Planning, ARFCN Planning and Network Dimensioning-TRX Addition Planning, Site Migration. • Nominal Cell Site Planning based on Traffic and/or Marketing Demand (New Town) and distribution to survey teams.• Release Expansion Plan monthly for whole N/W.• Planning of RF Parameters for the new sites to expand the N/W as per rollout.• BCCH, HO, HSN, MAIO, BSIC, Height, Orientation, Neighbor and other related parameter planning.• Collection of traffic statistics and other performance data.• Maintain site database for whole Airtel Nigeria including Physical as well as RF Parameters.• Co-channel (C/I) and Adjacent channel (C/A) Interference analysis.• Perform Site audit for whole N/W including 3780 sites.• Equipped capacity check- Number of TCH and SDCCH define correctly or not.• Get an understanding of the actual possible frequency re-use in order to improve spectrum efficiency.• Providing new Search-Rings to improve poor coverage and poor quality areas on the basis of customer complaints, Sales feedback, Competitor presence and Drive test analysis.• Provide the cell data to CM team for CNA cleanup according to MBC conversion.• Resolve all Expansion and new sites related issues with the help of Project team.• Prepare CDD for new, MBC conversion and Expansion sites.• Generation of various plots like Best Server, C/I, C/A, Service Area and statistics with the help of appropriate propagation models and carriers Using Mentum Planet EV 5.• Prepare MAPA Site database for capacity calculation.• Provide cell wise Erlang added data to the customer weekly.• Prepare Signoff Equipped Erlang per month.Specialties: Tools Knowledge: ASSET 6.0, NetAct 6.0, Atol 6.0, MapInfo professional Version 5.5,7.5 and 8.0, TEMS Investigation Version 8.0.3, 6.0 and 6.0.3, Global positioning system (GPS), AnaQoS_1.9.6 , ACIE PRC_Generator v3.3 , MCOM 4.2, Smart_MCT, Genex Probe V1.52, Genex Assistant V1.52., Mentum Planet EV 5, Winfoil.
