Chief Accountant
CurrentSaudi Makamin is a medium sized closed joint stock company having diversified business areas with fully owned subsidiaries and partially owned associated companies operating in entire Middle East region as well as United Kingdom. In the capacity of Chief Accountant my responsibilities include but not limited to:• Overseeing the entire accounting functions and transaction flow,• Analysis of account balances and reconciliations,• Managing inter-company accounts and consolidation,• Liaison with internal and external auditors,• Liaison with legal consultants and solicitors,• Overseeing the cashiering process and implementation of effective internal controls over the process,• Liaison with process owners at different business functions across the group,• Preparation of general and management accounting reports on periodic basis,• Closure of books and finalization of financial statements on monthly, quarterly and yearly basis,• Liaison with suppliers, customers and bankers,• Close monitoring of General Ledgers, reconciliation with subsidiary ledgers,• Financial Analysis and Project reporting.
