- Lead, supervise and coach the tendering team and give them the needed support.- Review along with the team all the tender documents to evaluate the scope of the project and provide recommendations to the top management accordingly.- Getting through the contract terms and conditions, liquidated damages, performance guarantee, milestone, bank guarantee requirements, payment terms and special conditions, taxes, and duties.- Review the direct and indirect cost sheets in addition to the top sheet and make the needed amendments in coordination with the Tender Team.- To prepare tender review information to ensure methodology, pricing and margin contingency are adequately adhered to.- Liaise with the Procurement department to negotiate with approved suppliers & subcontractors (pre/post tender).- Attending meetings with different departments in the organization to coordinate the works, & attending meetings with the company's top management to negotiate issues concerning the tender.- Negotiate with the clients and revise the tender to award the project to the company.- Suggest Value Engineering proposal to the Clients, in order to reach their estimated budget.- Provides all the project information upon project award to the Project Manager as per the project budget, advises the Project Manager on contractual rights, remedies which has been taken into consideration during tendering.- Establish and implement “best practices” and focuses on continuous improvement.- Prepares and generates monthly progress reports highlighting tender wins/ losses (indicating reasons) for review and verification of management.- Perform cost management activities throughout the project life cycle, such as variation orders, claims, cost variance, …etc.- Keep liaison with Project Manager/Cost Control for the on-site actual execution of projects and lessons learned to be able to prepare future competitive tenders.

- To coordinate the review of draft tender documents to ensure all systems and components of the tender are included, Attend on site Pre Bid/proposal meetings and site visits.- To coordinate the preparation of tender documentation queries to consultants/clients to confirm and collect any missing data including shipping costs, insurance, and any other requirements.- To prepare reports and supporting documents to identify areas requiring more information to ensure the Company is positioned to win and secure bids.- To develop tender cost summaries including equipment, materials, and labor calculations for final approval.- To co-ordinate and undertake planning concepts, preliminary schedules & cash flow.- To co-ordinate and undertake the review and generation of Bill of Quantity against system drawings to ensure alignment and to identify material types & quantities and prepare equipment lists for cost estimation.- To interpret and follow Company tendering processes and procedures to ensure all aspects of tenders are met, including relevant discipline codes and standards. - To coordinate the preparation of specification documents to submit to vendors for quotations of cost/price of materials and equipment and evaluate same against tender specifications to include in final tender documentation.- Review and approval of comparison sheets for quotations from Suppliers and Subcontractors.- Perform productivity analysis of cost estimates, prepare contingency, escalation, and reconciliation\'s for estimates; perform comparisons of scope, quantities, and cost data between projects.- Prepare management presentations and develop an estimate basis.- To build relationships and liaise with internal customers and external suppliers and vendors and manage daily correspondence for quantities, costs, and specifications.- Preparation & finalizing the financial & technical offer to submit to clients.
