Business Development Of Strategic Account (2005-2013)
Oki/Rohm Semiconductor Americas
Managed to retain strategic accounts of two multi-national companies, including Cisco and Hewlett-Packard; administered all aspects of sales and business development of custom and standard semiconductor products, including MCU, ASIC, Memory, Touch panel IC, PM IC, LED, Zigbee, and Bluetooth. Interacted with clients to determine design requirement while conducting internal engineering meeting for design and development as well as processing designs to manufacturing. Excelled as key part of product pricing process and evaluated competitor pricing.Key Accomplishments: Fostered and nurtured enduring relationships with sourcing, R&D, and procurement engineers, global supply managers, and worldwide sourcing executives.o Elevated sales from $3.6M to $32M. Developed a custom ASIC for a printer IR touch panel incorporating an 8 bit MCU with ADC and a 3rd party (Neonode) scan ASIC and touch panel software.o Enhanced design and produced product better than available for eBook reader MCU. Drove HP’s business growth into power management (AC/DC, DC/DC) by designing AC/DC PWM IC into energy star 2.0 power adapter (20W-50W) for printer with lower BOM cost. Partnered with Intel marketing/sales engineering and Cisco’s system-level engineering as well as GSM group to design an IOH (ASSP) part that interface with Intel Atom embedded processor for Cisco router and switch market. Designed more than 6 ASICs for Hewlett-Packard that led to cultivating more than $15M in annual revenues.
