• Manage sales and business development of custom and standard semiconductor products to 2 multi-national companies as strategic accounts, Cisco and Hewlett-Packard.• Products include MCU, ASIC, Memory, Touch panel IC, PM IC, LED, Zigbee, and Bluetooth. • Work with clients to determine design requirement, coordinate internal engineering meeting for design and development, transfer designs to manufacturing. • Evaluated competitor pricing as part of product pricing process.Selected Accomplishments:• Grew sales from $3.6M to $32M through the development of long-term relationships with sourcing, R&D, and procurement engineers, global supply managers, and worldwide sourcing executives.• Produced more than $15M in annual revenues by designing more than 6 ASICs for Hewlett-Packard.• Expanding HP business into power management (AC/DC, DC/DC). Designed AC/DC PWM IC into energy star 2.0 power adapter (20W-50W) for printer. This project involved HP own initiative to select 2 vendors to design a unique IC that will meet energy star 2.0 and lower BOM cost. The project was also coordinated with HP’s CM who manufactures the power adapter.• Design an IOH (ASSP) part that interface with Intel Atom embedded processor for Cisco router and switch market. This involve working with Intel marketing/sales engineering and Cisco’s system level engineering and GSM group. This sales promotion also exposed Rohm product --- PM IC, LED, power supply etc opportunity to Cisco.
