Mumbai Area, India

• A Shut down work of phase-1 Refinery CDU/VDU (Crude Distribution unit/ Vacuum Distribution Unit), Where all pumps and Motors has been serviced & and some pumps has been replaced to increase the discharge capacity of the unit.• 305Mtr head Crude pumps has been completely dismantled/ opened to replace the impeller of the pump and a Mechanical seals has been replaced. And again box up.• Over hauling of Heat exchangers/ Coolers with some modification has been successfully done.• Alignment of motor with pumps and trial run after erection of the pumps. • Inspection, monitoring and maintaining pipeline welding quality on the job.• Supervising execution of construction work for Mechanical Equipment erection, Piping, structural fabrication/erection, package units etc.• Review and approve the quality plan, Inspection & Test plan and work procedures submitted by contractors and ensure contactor is executing the work and meeting the approved plans and procedures.

• Erection of 500MW turbines (H.P, I.P & L.P turbines) as per the clearances given in drawing with a least tolerance, erection of pumps (BFPs, CEP, ACW & DMCW) Erection of coolers, Heaters. T.G Integral piping like Lube oil, control oil, seal steam piping.• I worked as a leading Site, Turbine Piping Engineer for the erection of entire T.G. And gained an award of Star of the Unit#3 500MW power project at NTPC Simhadri by General Manager of NTPC Mr. R.Radhakristnan after Synchronisation of Unit#3 500MW plant. • Erection and commissioning of Turbine integral Piping as per isometric, GAD and Plan drawings.• Fit-ups and welding inspection as per NDT procedures.• Conducting several NDT tests of pipe lines during commissioning process• Maintenance of erected and commissioned pipe lines and equipment’s.• Alignment and erection of static equipment’s.• Supervising execution of construction work for Mechanical Equipment erection, Piping, structural fabrication/erection, package units etc.• Review and approve the quality plan, Inspection & Test plan and work procedures submitted by contractors and ensure contactor is executing the work and meeting the approved plans and procedures.• Study the drawings issued for construction in detail well in advance and identify if there is any mismatch between drawings and specifications.• Maintain documentation and material reconciliation records.• Witness tests related to quality aspects and maintain records.• Maintain joint record / document for the deviations from the drawings, dismantling quantities etc.• Participation in successful implementation of safety program as per contractual requirement.• Identify the piping requirement based on the piping GA and isometrics issued to site and take up with concerned for any discrepancies.• Effective man power and resources handling.• Responsible for maintaining quality in all the aspects of work.• Implementing HSE procedures at work.
