Nasa Ncas (Nasa Community College Aerospace Scholars)
With NASA, I worked with them to research about space and how we can use technology to revolutionize the future of space travel. Mission 1: In the first mission with NASA, I spent my time researching aviation aircraft, rocket ships, galactic travel, and much more. This gave me a great understanding of NASA’s objectives and goals which better guided me in mission 2. Mission 2: For 1 week straight, I worked in a virtual environment with 10 other students to hypothetically create our own rover which would land in mars. We were mentored by NASA employees who would guide us and then let us work on our own. After the completion of mission 2, we were able to create a successful rover that uses technology such as hypersonic parachutes and heat shield. This technology, which was found through our extensive research, helped us succeed in the mission of bringing our rover to Mars. We also had a group presentation at the end in which we presented our research, rover, and objectives. Mission 3: Chief/Systems Engineer of my team to build a successful rover which we programmed.
