My primary objectives at Beltone are to develop a strong Software Development team to achieve the company expansion objectives, to manage the implementation of third party systems from concept to go-live, to improve the current business processes and to support the software development team achieving company objectives. Since business objectives are, most of the time, moving targets, I always have to make a good balance between business priorities and deadlines.Over the course of my work at Beltone and with my team, we used up-to-date architecture concepts, frameworks and a great deal of know-how to accomplish a fully fledged online trading system that runs both on web and smart phones. The system is backed by dozen of services to improve scale out and reduce the cost of purchasing expensive trading systems. We had the honor of fully developing the first automated trading system that manages the Market Making of the first ETF in Egypt and Arab world. Our Research Management System (RMS) which we developed internally from ground up disseminates millions of emails every years. And for a better management of what gets delivered to each client, we have integrated our RMS with our CRM. The CRM we developed improves the sales processes of the company. The system dramatically helped improve the account opening process, client requests, newsletters, etc...One of the major highlights to mention is the development of internal Business Process Management (BPM) software. Since launched, our BPM efficiently managed purchases, payments and travel processes and reduced purchase approval process from weeks to days. On the other hand, we are working on new projects such as BI, non-disclosed client services and the integration with our newly acquired USA company to achieve the expansion goals set by the executive committee.

Over the course of my career, I had the chance to work with one of the Middle East world’s premier investment banking firms in Egypt. As a “Solution Architect, Project and Software Process Manager”, I was responsible for: • Creating well architected EFG Hermes Streamer from scratch, to operate on any unidentified market; currently operating on Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Egypt, DIFX, KSA.• Re-architecture of the Order Management System• Re-architecture of the B2B system• Improving the implementation of all the FIX services across the region• Process Manager of the Front-Office development team composed of developers, testers and business analysts using Scrum method• Studying problems versus to aim, building on the given specifications and relevant standards and implement accordingly. • Tracking the progress of the project to ensure compliance with or enhancement of the existing architecture or design. • Organizing and supervising the development of new system components.

During my assignment in this esteemed co., I had the chance to occupy the referenced position for the “distinctive support and hard work”. Part of my responsibilities in these positions was:• Supervising the implementation of sophisticated firewalls using Cisco, Linux and ISA. • Installing, configuring and maintaining mail servers on Linux and Microsoft platforms. • Implementing web and client server applications. • Conducting system administration for Microsoft and Linux. • Conducting web mastering of Banque Misr web site. • Establishing and writing the configuration for Cisco routers and PIX firewalls. • Supervision of firm support and network teams.

Working on freelance basis and running own business, I worked with a number of big names and others, performing the following assignments:• Performing hardware development.• Conducting supply, construction, installation and specialized maintenance of companies' equipments, and follow up services of upgrade.• Designing PCBs and reverse engineering of electric circuits.• Conducting periodical market study for service and product supply.• Functioning as part of a working group, to cover targeted project such as:o Out-door dot matrix screens.o One way internet via satellite • Negotiating and contracting with customers on tailor-made offers/packages for tenders or others, matching their needs and modifications on satellite resellers and other products• Handling customer inquiries completely and accurately maintaining confidentiality• Resolving customer complaints and problems to the satisfaction of the customer
