I have more than 16 years of experience in digital health transformation. Currently, I am pursuing a PhD in Public Health. I work as a Health Systems Officer at the World Health Organization-WHO since 2013. Specifically, I am interested in Big Data and Research in the Health Sector, Health Policy Formulation and implementation, Project Management, Medical Coding., epidemiology and public health intervention design and implementation. I have been involved in the design and implementation of Digital Health Interventions, including the implementation of the Electronic Medical Record in public hospitals and several primary health care registries and surveillance systems such as the Mother and Child Health Registry (+400 clinics), the Road Traffic Accidents Registry, the Mammography Registry, and the Family Health File (one electronic health record that is unified and harmonized). Furthermore, I was involved in developing a national eHealth strategy in Palestine, and preparing a national registry on road safety in Palestine.
