As a Team Leader (Executive Officer, R&D) in the early bioprocess development within Incepta Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Vaccine Division Research and Development, I am playing a role at the center of operations and I have been connected with everything they do, every day, is in line with an unwavering commitment to quality. I have been working with a large team of scientists focused on conjugation process development for manufacturing carbohydrate-based conjugate vaccines. I am process expert of MS&T specialized in EDC, CNBr and CDAP conjugation chemistry, change control, process validation and process scale up.My primary duties include development of new/novel conjugation methods, analysis of glycoconjugates, and optimization of conjugation process parameters including conjugation and purification. As a team leader, my key contribution towards the early development and scale-up of glycoconjugate vaccines, monitoring and problem solving of team members job, careful documentation of work and presentation of data. All work is done in a compliant manner according to SOP guidelines and cGMP/GLP regulations, where applicable.I have been trained and become expertise of the following instrumentations- High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), SEC-MALS, Ion Exchange Chromatography (HPAEC-PAD), Conjugate purification by AKTA (explorer/pilot), GC-MS, SDS-PAGE, Western Blot, Enzyme Linked Immuno Sorbent Assay (ELISA), Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (AAS).Practitioner of biological products quality management system according to the world top regulatory authorities (WHO, US-FDA, EMA). Sound knowledge of Data Integrity (DI) 21CFR Part 11, regularly performing duties include analytical method development, method validation, change control, scale up and stability studies of the biological products. I earned my BSc (hon’s) in Chemistry and MS (thesis) in Organic Synthesis from Jahangirnagar University, Dhaka Bangladesh. I acquired comprehensive theoretical and practical background on protein-polysaccharide conjugation and purification technologies. I am highly passionate to developed conjugate vaccines with low price especially for the low-income countries around the globe.
