1. Ensure smooth functioning of all Import activities, Clearance, Delivery, Bond Book Management, Regulatory issues etc. 2. Supervision of dealings with Global Supplier, Local government authority, Customs house and EPZ customs, Bank, Shipping Lines, Freight Forwarders, C&F Agents Transport for execution of import purpose. 3.Persuasion with Forwarder/Supplier and other Stakeholder regarding shipment positioning and shipping documents as well.4.Monitoring shipment clearance through C&F agents and ensure material in-house on time 5. To prepare, handle and follow up the LC, TT and all types of import related documents6. To ensure PI terms and conditions prepare necessary documents for foreign LC, back to back LC, TT, sales Contract, DP and follow up with bank. Manage L/C related work which include - corresponding with vendors, opening L/C and its amendment, monitoring shipment, document requirement formalities and custom clearing7. Follow up the LC and other payment process with supplier through bank to complete the whole process within stipulated time frame 8. Familiar with custom rules, import policies, & SROs and import related web portals. 9. Ensure Insurance coverage & amending necessarily.10. Ensuring Customs Bond Entry respectively 11.Arranging IN and Out Pass for repairing, Subcontract, Local Purchase etc. and ensure customs clearance through C&F agent necessarily12.Update Import status (ETD, ETA, In house date) in Oracle 13.Ensure sample shipment clearance and send to concern person 14.Checking and Preparing Bill for C&F, Insurance & F. Forwarder 15.Update billing data base (C&;F, Freight Forwarder & Insurance) 16.Keeping close bonding with Procurement, Inventory and Warehouse Team 17. Chemical, machinery, spare parts, Office furniture and others import purpose documentation and follow up6. Fabrics & accessories import under LC, FOC, bank guarantee, and third party import process.7. UD type, FOC related work in BGMEA, BTMC permission for machinery import8. Communication with bank, C&F agent, Transport forwarder, Suppliers9. Vast knowledge about HS code10.All kind of bill entry in server. (C&F bill, Transport bill, Forwarder bill)

Export: Commercial invoice, packing list make in AS400 software, EXP, Booking, Export TT settlement, BL release, BL surrender, handover shipping docs to CNF. Import-S/C & Master LC lien, BTB L/C, L/C amendment, UD, Acceptance, Import Documents endorsement,, import payment, import machinery, Bank & BGMEA NOC . Communication and liaise with C&F agent, Forwarder, BGMEA, Customs, Insurance company, MOT, Export import banking.
