Thirty-two (32) years of experience as VP Operations, Executive Director, Project Director, Senior Projects Manager, Engineering Manager, Project Manager, Senior Project Engineer, Facility Engineer, Chief Civil/Structural Engineer and Structural Engineer. Led the management and execution of the company’s 10-year General Engineering Services plus Contract with Saudi Aramco. Managed the design of up to 100 various projects with over 1 million engineering man hours yearly and an annual engineering budget of over $100 million. The projects varied from initial concept/feasibility studies to complete detailed design. The total installed cost of the projects ranged from $20 million to over $1 billion.I was reporting directly to the president of the company and was responsible for the company’s financial performance including project’s Profits and Loss, GMAF and EBIT. Led a team of over 50 professionals consisting of Project Directors, Project Managers, Project Engineers and over 500 engineering personals to execute over 1 million engineering man-hours annually. Responsible for interviewing and recruiting talented project management resources to ensure all projects are completed on schedule, within budget while meeting all quality and safety standards. Also, conducted monthly management reviews of all major projects to ensure smooth execution and mitigate any financial, technical or reputational risks that may be identified. Enforced strict adherence to the company’s change management, risk management, quality management and safety procedures.Established strong client relationships that led to the award of significant engineering contracts to our company, on a sole source basis, through quality execution of awarded projects that exceeded clients’ expectations. Succeeded in securing the approval of significant change orders where scope deviation was clearly identified and presented to the client.Strong Leadership and technical experience in the preparation of Conceptual Design up to Detailed Design of facilities for Oil and Gas Plants (Process facilities upgrade, utilities upgrade, pipelines, Upstream tie-ins, Offshore platforms and onshore plants), Heavy Industrial Plants, Mining and Metal Plants, Power Plants, Petro-Chemical plants, and Building & infrastructure projects. Thorough knowledge in all aspects of project management, engineering management/coordination including extensive experience in estimating, budgeting, costing, planning, scheduling, constructability, value engineering, procurement, contracting strategies, contract negotiation.
