I was assigned to work in the Economic Research and Policy Department on an assignment which involved preparation of templates for various types of institutions to collect the data for the World’s Top 500 Islamic Financial Institutions (IFIs) from the various sources and also prepare a Contact profile for these institutions; During this period also attended two training sessions on i) Application of statistics in IDB initiatives (14 hours) and ii) Understanding productivity and Competitiveness in IDB Member Countries (6 hours);

I was assigned to work in the Office of the President of the Islamic Development Bank Group and performed a number of tasks which inter alia included i) Review of the Articles of Innovation, Change Management and Six Sigma with regard to their possible application in the IDB; ii) Analyzed and reported the difference between ready made packages and developed systems, iii) Analyzed best practice concepts and compared it with the current President’s Office Practice; iv) Developed and presented KPIs for the Office of the President; v) Assisted in implementing “President’s Online Instructions Follow up System”, etc. etc. Was assigned an excellent rating (10 out of 10 for most of the skills).
