As the proprietor of Parallel Design Studio, I have 20 years of experience in designing, managing and executing interior fitout projects of restaurants, offices, retail spaces and residences and architectural projects of institutional and residential buildings. I have also been engaged in teaching construction techniques and detailing to students of architecture at School of Planning & Architecture, New Delhi since 2011. Additionally, I have also been providing MEP Consultancy Services for restaurant interior projects PAN India, where I have been responsible for coordinating with Develepors like DLF, M3M, Phoenix Mills and Indiabulls, among others and PMC consultants like Cushman, JLL and PPZ on behalf of Clients for approvals of plans and specifications for Fitout Works and for Fire & Life Safety Audit of completed works on completion of Fitout. I have also executed interior fitout works for projects in a turn key model, where I have managed construction teams for civil work, electrical work, plumbing work, HVAC work, Fire protection work, woodwork, metal work and finishing works, from costing, material procurement, construction supervision, coordinating with building management teams, billing and handover, managing a staff of upto 10 people and a work force for over a 100 people, for projects of area upto 20,000 sq ft.I am proficient in AutoCAD, Sketchup, Photoshop and M.S. Office, and have been working on presentations, concepts, working drawings, BOQs, specifications and 3D simulations for my projects.
