A series of initiatives were taken to develop their capacity such as workshops, exposure visits, joint visits to the field and reflective sessions.• Developed strategic plan for Community-Based Education Project which included meaningful and empowered inclusion of local community in school management. • Strengthened civil society organizations such as School Shuras, village councils, School Student Association (SSAs) and health committees which played key roles in improving the learning environment in schools• Developed a mechanism to support AKF’s education program with Multi sectoral integration approach;• Ensured timely and regular reports to AKF Education Director and maintained a channel of communication especially on issues which presented potential impact on AKF initiatives.
