My journey into the world of engineering began with a fascination for how things work and a desire to solve complex problems. From a young age, I was captivated by the design and construction of buildings, bridges, and infrastructure, which sparked my passion for civil engineering. This curiosity led me to pursue a degree in civil engineering at the Lebanese American University, where I have immersed myself in both the theoretical and practical aspects of the field.As a dedicated and ambitious senior civil engineering student at the Lebanese American University, I am passionate about leveraging my diverse experiences to drive innovation and excellence in the engineering field. During my 6-month internship at MA Contracting, I gained invaluable hands-on experience in construction management. I developed contracts, specified unit prices, and studied the special requirements of each project.I worked across various engineering disciplines, including Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering & Civil Engineering. Worked as a site engineer on several projects, ensuring quality and adherence to timelines.In the office, I focused on the design aspects, blending creativity with technical precision.Engineering Lab AssistantIn this role, I supported lab operations, assisted students with experiments, and maintained lab equipment. This experience enhanced my technical skills and ability to troubleshoot complex problems.Moving to being the IT Department Assistant: I provided technical support, managed IT resources, and assisted in the implementation of IT solutions. This role honed my problem-solving abilities and familiarity with various software and hardware systems.As an active member of The American Society of Civil Engineers, I have engaged in numerous events and initiatives, gaining insights into industry trends, networking with professionals, and staying updated with best practices in civil engineering.My involvement with Rotaract has strengthened my leadership and community service skills.
