 Receiving the import & local purchase requisition from a different store.  Dealing with suppliers for orders based on department requirements and negotiating the prices.  Maintain & Track status of requisitions, orders, pricing, delivery and other important data.  Confirm the PI and opening All Local, Foreign Import LC’s and T/T as per PI and work order.  Arrange marine insurance premium according to trade term of L/C as PI.  Provide LC/TT swift /draft copy as per supplier requirements with shipment schedule and follow-up with local and overseas supplier for on time documents in hand.  To follow-up BB LC/ Amendment for Local portion /overseas.  Comparing and assigning forwarder/Courier for Freight collect shipment.  Check, confirming, maintaining and delivering all sort of import documentation.  Giving acceptance to the bank for collecting original import documents  Obtain import permission from BEPZA.  To follow-up with C&F agent, shipping line and freight forwarder for on time import clearance & vessel schedule.  Collect Bill of entry and submission to the bank with documents as per Bangladesh Bank rules.  Maintaining communication with CUSTOMS, BEPZA, and other related officials.  Having Sound knowledge on export documentation and activities.
