 Direct reporting to the R&D Manager/Chief Executive Officer/Executive Director. Responsible for designing Pipeline Inspection Tools (MFL, Ultrasonic, Caliper). Conduct validation tests to prove design concepts and product reliability. Scrutinize technical mechanical problems and follow corrective procedures to fix the problem and avoid recurrence. Solve problems on the shop floor by working closely with production people involved in fabrication, machining, assembly, and testing areas. Acting as a lead design engineer on a variety of projects. Maintain drawing files and records throughout the duration of contracts. Develop a project specification with colleagues, often including those from other engineering disciplines. Recommend modifications following prototype test results. Research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, safety, reliability, cost, and maintenance requirements of designs or applications. Be involved in other relevant functions for Dacon business.

 Direct reporting to the Technical Design Manager. Designing of Pipeline Inspection Tools and Pigging/ILI Equipment (MFL, Caliper, TFI, UT, Gauging, and other cleaning pigs). Checking and approving the tool performance during the PTT (Push thru test). Provide subject matter expertise and technical development to staff and associated team members. Identify potential project risks and propose appropriate solutions where possible. Being a first line answering service for all clients’ technical questions. Keep abreast of industry standard practices in In-Line Inspection.
