Worked as a full-time faculty member under the School of Science and Engineering (SSE) and teaching and mentoring students and continuing as Head of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE).Conducting research in design and optimization of broadband supercontinuum laser sources employing highly nonlinear non-silica materials such as chalcogenide, silicon, silicon nitride, and silicon-rich nitride for wideband supercontinuum generation for the applications in the areas of optical imaging, spectroscopy, optical coherence tomography, fluorescence microscopy, various kind of sensing, food quality control and various environmental and industrial optical sensing between near-infrared and mid-infrared regimes. Design is carrying out using numerical modeling of 2D photonic devices such as nonlinear planar optical waveguides and photonic crystal fibers employing both the uniform and tapered approaches through the modal solutions approach based on the numerically efficient finite element method.

Engaged in Photonics Research Centre as a post-doctoral research fellow in the University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where working on the design and modeling of broadband coherent supercontinuum sources for various mid-infrared region applications such as sensing and biological imaging.

Evaluating undergraduates on attainment, constantly monitoring their progress, giving oral and written feedback, and assessing work promptly and accurately.

Teaching and mentoring students within the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) and the Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (ETE).Undertaking various undergraduate courses and conducting final examinations. Supervising and monitoring the transmission and operation of the whole exchange on the Motorola-based Radio Trunking and Paging System. Diagnosing and rectifying any occurring faults in the switching system, programming a variety of Motorola Radio and Paging sets, and ensuring billing of the system was carried out regularly.
