    I have taught thermal sciences courses in the mechanical engineering department at undergraduate and graduate level. I was responsible for preparing the ABET self-study report for the reaccreditation of the BS Mechanical Engineering Program in 2019. The accreditation visit resulted in a reaccreditation of a maximum possible period i.e., 6 years without any deficiency, weakness, or concerns. In addition to that I have also worked on the accreditation reports for the Ministry of Higher Education. I have also contributed in the development of curriculum for the new programs in the mechanical engineering department such as Industrial engineering. I have also established the ASME ADU student chapter in 2016 and have been the faculty advisor of the chapter since then. have been contributing the following college and university levels committees: • Member Faculty Promotion Committee (University level) • Member Faculty Promotion Committee (College of Engineering level)• Member Outcome Assessment and Accreditation Committee • Member Curriculum Committee• Member Undergraduate Council Committee (University level) • Member Faculty Development CommitteeMajor Achievements in ADU• ADEK award for research excellence, funding amount of $325,000 for project titled: “Spray cooling of metal plates on Runout Table: Heat transfer measurement and simulation”. 2019. I am supervising a Graduate student on this project.• ADEK award for research excellence, funding amount of $85,000 for project titled: “Heat transfer measurement and simulation of the cooling process in hot mill lines”. 2018. ASHRAE Research Project (2010): “Evaporation in Corrugated Flooded Plate Heat Exchangers with Ammonia and Ammonia/Miscible Oil”. I was the Principal Investigator of this project. This also resulted in the collaboration with Texas Tech University Lubbock Texas and Isotherm Arlington USA. This project resulted in setup of the first graduate experimental laboratory in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, GIKI. I have supervised a PhD student in this project. The research funds for this project amount to about $125,000. The research work has been published in ten journal publications and has resulted in inclusion in chapters of ASHRAE fundamentals handbook. I have also established an ASHRAE student branch in GIKI in 2006 and another in MAJU in 2012. I have supervised both the branches as Student Branch Advisor of ASHRAE.
